Scholarship Description

International students interested in applying for the first year of any bachelor’s degree at Illinois Wesleyan University may qualify for scholarships. Merit-Based Scholarships and President’s Scholarships are the two categories of scholarships.

The value of the merit-based scholarships ranges from $16,000 to $30,000 per year (renewable for a maximum of four years). Additionally, the President’s Scholarships cover the full cost of tuition.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Merit-Based Scholarships, international students must have achieved high academic standing and obtained the necessary test scores on the entrance tests.

International applicants are chosen for the President’s Scholarships based on their excellent qualifications based on their academic accomplishments, interests, and abilities.

How to Apply

Students are immediately considered for the scholarships after submitting an application for admission, therefore there is no need to submit an application for the merit-based scholarships.

For Fall 2022 admission, a separate application for President’s Scholarships must be filed by February 15, 2022.

A thorough analysis must be provided for need-based financial aid by submitting the CSS PROFILE before 1 January 2024 for Fall 2024 admission.
